Mr. Anthony Barrett, CHST, STSC did not begin his career in construction to be “The Safety Guy.”  He actually began his career in construction in the Process Piping field. Once, becoming a journeyman in the construction industry, he had the opportunity to work for some wonderful companies and while connecting with some amazing people. It wasn’t until he  experienced a tragic event on a jobsite involving a fellow co-worker and a long time friend, where his passion for safety became strong. From there, his journey began. Anthony began to take as many certification classes at GA Tech for safety as he could. Now he is able to incorporate his previous knowledge from being in the field with the additional safety knowledge he has learned.
