Mr. Anthony Barrett, SMP, CHST, STSC, did not begin his career in construction with the intention of becoming “The Safety Guy.” He initially entered the industry working in the Process Piping field. After achieving journeyman status, he had the opportunity to work with several reputable companies and collaborate with exceptional professionals.

His perspective shifted following a tragic jobsite incident involving a fellow coworker and longtime friend, which ignited a deep commitment to safety. From that moment forward, his journey in the safety field began. Anthony pursued extensive safety education, completing numerous certification courses at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Today, he effectively integrates his hands-on field experience with his advanced safety training, bringing a well-rounded and practical approach to workplace safety.
